b) Your consent to data processing as part of the transmission of contact details using a web form (GDPR Art. 6 number 1 letter a)).

c) Our legitimate interest in directly advertising our products to our data subjects as well as your interest in offers and promotions (GDPR Art. 6 number 1 letter f)).

d) Compliance with legal obligations regarding archiving and storage (GDPR Art. 6 number 1 letter c)).


8. Right of Access, Correction, Deletion, Objection, and to Opt-Out


8.1 We take reasonable steps to ensure that your Personal Data on file with us is accurate and current. At your request, we will inform you within a reasonable period of time, in accordance with applicable law, whether and what Personal Data about you is stored in our systems. If, despite our efforts to maintain data accuracy and timeliness, incorrect data should be stored in our systems, we will correct it at your request. You also have the right to restrict the processing of your information in certain circumstances, object to processing or ask that we transfer the information you gave us to another organization.


8.2 To exercise any of your rights or for questions concerning your Personal Data, information requests, or suggestions and complaints, please contact us (cf. chapter 1).


8.3 Only you, or someone legally authorized to act on your behalf, may make a request related to your Personal Data. You may also make a request on behalf of your minor child. We cannot respond to your request or provide you with Personal Data if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the Personal Data relates to you.


9. Opt-in and opt-out direct marketing


9.1 We use all Personal Data provided to and collected from us (see Chapter 3) for direct marketing (default opt-in) (see Chapter 6c)).


9.2 If you no longer wish to receive the newsletter, you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the link provided in the email (opt-out).


9.3 If you no longer wish to be contacted for direct marketing purposes, you can inform us at any time by email or telephone (opt-out) (see Chapter 6c).


10. Disclosure of data to third parties


10.1 Within rqmicro, those departments have access to your data that need it to fulfill our contractual and legal obligations or to protect legitimate interests.


10.2 Except as described below, your Personal Data will not be passed on to third parties or otherwise distributed.


10.3 Service providers of rqmicro:

a) Odoo SA: ERP System including CRM

b) Microsoft Corp.: Business software solutions

c) Amazon Web Services (AWS): Hosting services

d) Google LLC: Online marketing and processing of cookies

e) FedEx Corp: delivery of ordered goods.


10.4 Our service providers may only process or use your data for the purpose for which they were transmitted to them. Insofar as data is passed on to external service providers, we have taken technical and organizational measures to ensure that the data protection regulations are observed.


11. Transfer to third countries


Processing and storage of Personal Data may take place abroad (see Chapter 10.3).


12. Security


12.1 We have taken technical and organizational security measures (GDPR Art. 24, 32 GDPR) to protect your Personal Data from loss, destruction, manipulation and unauthorized access. All our employees and all third parties involved in data processing are obliged to comply with the applicable data protection laws and to handle Personal Data confidentially.


12.2 For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as inquiries that you send to us as the site operator via the contact form, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.


13. Do Not Track (DNT)


We do not currently employ a process for automatically responding to “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals sent by web browsers, mobile devices or other mechanisms. Per industry standards, third parties may be able to collect information, including Personal Data about your online activities over time and across different websites or online services.


14. Commitment to Children’s Privacy


This website is not intended to collect or maintain any information from children younger than 16 years of age. If we learn that we mistakenly collected any information from anyone younger than 16 years of age, we will dispose of the information immediately after notification.


15. Storage and Archiving


We processe and store your Personal Data based upon its legal and business needs and then securely destroys the information. It is possible that Personal Data may be stored for the period of time for which claims may be asserted against us. Commercial and tax regulations and laws also impose documentation and retention obligations.
