The rqmicro.COUNT is a cartridge-based flow cytometer for automated microbiological analysis of liquid samples. It enables fluorescence-based single-cell analysis for the quantification of total bacterial cells, intact bacterial cells, and the detection of specific microorganisms. The instrument is designed for use with rqmicro reagent kits and performs automated sample processing, measurement, and data analysis through dedicated assay protocols. For organism-specific assays, such as Legionella detection, the system can run an automated immunomagnetic separation (IMS) as part of the assay workflow when required.
