We are excited to announce that rqmicro has been approved for Innosuisse funding under the Swiss Accelerator program. This prestigious support will enhance and accelerate our ongoing research and development efforts in E. coli detection, ensuring that rqmicro continues to lead the way in rapid microbial analysis.
In 2023, Innosuisse launched a call for applications for the Swiss Accelerator, designed to provide direct financial support to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and start-ups in Switzerland with significant innovation potential. Following a three-stage evaluation process, rqmicro’s innovation project was selected, along with 32 other forward-thinking projects.
Accelerating Growth and Innovation
This funding represents an important milestone for rqmicro. It will enable the company to fast-track the development and scaling of novel products and services, particularly in the area of rapid E. coli detection. The innovative solution aims to provide accurate and reliable results, empowering industries to make faster decisions in safeguarding public health.
With the backing of Innosuisse, rqmicro will continue to push the boundaries of innovation in microbial analysis, delivering faster, more precise technologies for water and food safety.
About Innosuisse and the Swiss Accelerator Program
The Swiss Innovation Agency, Innosuisse, initiated this special call for projects in response to Switzerland's non-association with Horizon Europe, the EU’s flagship program for research and innovation. The Swiss Accelerator seeks to boost growth and innovation by supporting Swiss companies in developing high-impact products that address global challenges.
This approval not only validates rqmicro’s significant innovation potential but also provides the resources to accelerate the market launch of the advanced E. coli detection technology. By improving the speed and accuracy of testing solutions, the team at rqmicro aims to make a lasting impact on sustainability, health and safety across multiple industries.
We look forward to sharing our progress and contributing to a safer, more sustainable future.
